- Stage 1 | Saint Jean Pied de Port – Roncesvalles (25.7 km)
- Stage 2 | Roncesvalles – Larrasoaña (26.4 km)
The Camino Frances marked a significant shift in Jorge de la Rosa’s inner world. At that time, he was emerging from a period of depression and carried a deep emotional burden that he had to face with every step he took toward Santiago de Compostela.
Here we focus on his first two days. Jorge began the journey in the charming French town of Saint Jean Pied de Port, crossing a stretch of the Pyrenees until reaching the Navarrese town of Larrasoaña, where this initial stage came to an end.
During this experience, he spent the night in the welcoming town of Roncesvalles and listened to the stories of people whose presence became a solid pillar throughout this remarkable, introspective journey. Barely 48 hours had passed, yet they already gave him a breath of life and hope in the midst of this unique path he had set out on.
