Its strategic location on the Camino Frances makes it a meeting point for pilgrims from all over the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Traditional Features in Castildelgado<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Castildelgado preserves features that evoke its rural, communal past, such as the old bread oven and the forge with its farrier&#8217;s stand. After the morning Mass, it is traditional to hold the &#8220;atranc\u00f3n&#8221; \u2014 a sweet wine gathering \u2014 at the hostel, a celebration that combines religious devotion with community and culinary enjoyment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Castildelgado on the Camino Frances<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Castildelgado<\/strong> is one of the villages that mark the Camino Frances, the most heavily travelled Way of St. James.
