It has two side chapels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Altarpieces<\/strong>: It houses altarpieces from the 17th and 18th centuries, most notably a crucifix attributed to the sculptor Juan S\u00e1ez de Torrecilla.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Depictions of Santiago<\/strong>: It is notable for containing images of the apostle in his three guises: pilgrim, apostle and Matamoros (Moor-slayer).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Hospital de San L\u00e1zaro: A Vestige of Hospitality<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Hospital de <a href=\"https:\/\/caminodesantiagofrances.com\/en\/saints\/saint-lazarus\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"15753\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">San L\u00e1zaro<\/a><\/strong>, now gone, was in its time an important refuge for pilgrims. Located next to the Camino, it initially functioned as a leper hospital and was demolished in 1752. Its materials were reused in the construction of the hermitage of Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de Vallejera, located 1.5 km from the present-day hamlet. A stone marker beside the road to Poblaci\u00f3n de Arroyo indicates its location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Patrimonio Cultural y Tradiciones<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Hermitage of Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de Vallejera<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This hermitage, rebuilt using materials from the old hospital, is an example of resource reuse and the continuity of devotion in the area. It lies a kilometre and a half from the town centre and is historically linked to the Hospital de San L\u00e1zaro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Ledigos Patron Saint Festivities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">Ledigos celebrates its patron saint festivities in honour of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/caminodesantiagofrances.com\/en\/saints\/saint-james-the-apostle\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"5930\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ap\u00f3stol Santiago<\/a><\/strong> on 25 July.
