lies 4.5 km from Ponferrada, at 511 metres above sea level, between <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/caminodesantiagofrances.com\/en\/leon-province\/camponaraya\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"11796\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Camponaraya<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/caminodesantiagofrances.com\/en\/leon-province\/columbrianos\/\" target=\"_blank\" For centuries the council of Ponferrada and the monastery of Carracedo went to law over the Fabero pasture, between Ponferrada and Carracedelo, which shows how valuable these lands were.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Population<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With about 2,600 residents, it is today a residential district of the Ponferrada area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Economy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although the city has gained ground, vegetable plots, flowers,
