She is at home in Madrid, and explains that they need to travel to Lugo and then on to Sarria, though that will come later. Tamara explains that although it is 7pm, her bus does not leave until 12:30am, so they still have a few hours ahead of them. She shows off her travel outfit, nothing special, but practical for a six-and-a-half-hour bus journey: comfortable Decathlon running trousers, a seamless t-shirt, and hiking shoes that will not fit in her suitcase. She also shows her backpack, which will be her companion over the coming days.

Later, already on the bus to Lugo, Tamara mentions it is 7am and she is falling asleep. By 2pm the next day, they have already checked in at the hostel and are ready to eat, pick up their credentials, and explore Sarria a little. While showing off the Pilgrim Credential of the Camino de Santiago, which she got at the tobacco shop across from the Polo café, Tamara says goodbye in her Winnie the Pooh pyjamas and mentions she is going to finish editing the video to upload it that same day. She invites her viewers to like the video, subscribe to the channel, and promises to see them the next day on the first stage of the Camino de Santiago.

¡Buen Camino, pilgrims!

Camino de Santiago Frances

VLOG 1 Camino de Santiago | MADRID – SARRIA with Tamara Madrid – Sarria | VLOG 1 with Tamara Tamara welcomes viewers to her first vlog about the Camino Frances, marking the start of her journey.
