The Church of Santo Tomás de Aquino, built between the 16th and 17th centuries, is the main religious landmark in Moratinos. Built of brick, it houses altarpieces from different periods and a 16th-century image of the Virgin and Child in the sacristy. San Nicolás del Real Camino

A hamlet of Moratinos, San Nicolás del Real Camino holds notable historical significance. In 1183, Alfonso VIII granted the church of San Miguel de Moral de la Reina to the Knights Templar, who founded a hospital in the area. From 1554, Dominican nuns ran this hospital, cementing the site’s importance along the pilgrim route.
