A Calle de Ferreiros (or simply A Calle) is a hamlet in the parish of Ferreiros, in the municipality of O Pino, in A Coruna Province, on the Camino Frances.
About 32 kilometres from Santiago and with around a hundred residents, A Calle is one of the nicest places on the stage between Arzúa and O Pedrouzo: the Camino crosses it along a narrow street of stone houses, hórreos and ivy-covered walls beside a small stream, and you will often find a bar with a terrace here for a mid-morning stop. It belongs to the parish of Ferreiros, which brings together a dozen hamlets such as A Boavista and A Salceda, which pilgrims meet next. It has no notable monuments or documented historical episodes of its own: its interest lies in the landscape of rural Galicia, with eucalyptus and oak woods alternating with meadows.
From A Calle de Ferreiros to A Boavista it is about 4.5 km.
To A Salceda it is about 7 km.
And to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, in Santiago de Compostela, about 34.8 km remain.
