The Pilgrimage: A Contemporary Quest for Ancient Wisdom (Diary of a Magus)

In this thrilling account, Paulo Coelho recounts the adventures of his pilgrimage along the Camino Frances. Accompanied by his spiritual guide, the mysterious and enigmatic Petrus, Paulo faces a series of trials and exercises, meets figures who test his determination and his faith, and evades insidious dangers and threatening temptations, all in search of the sword that will allow him to become a Master of the R.A.M.

The Camino, which Paulo Coelho walked in 1986, went on to inspire an adventure novel that is, at the same time, a fascinating parable about the need to find our own path in life.
