As Rozas is a small hamlet in the municipality of Paradela, in Lugo Province, on the Camino Frances.
It is the last place in the Ferreiros area before the Camino enters the parish of Santiago de Laxe, with its hamlets of Moimentos, O Cotarelo, Mercadoiro and Moutras. As Rozas is just a few houses beside the route and, as on much of this stretch, there are no monuments or documented history worth telling separately; its role is that of a link in a chain of hamlets that leave the Sarria to Portomarín stage with almost no empty stretches. Here the landscape starts to open out and descend: from this area you can already make out the Miño valley and the Belesar reservoir, which pilgrims will have in view on the final descent to Portomarín.
