Peruscallo is a small hamlet in the municipality of Sarria, in Lugo Province, on the Camino Frances.
It is one of the clusters of houses the Camino strings together between Sarria and Portomarín, on a stretch of meadows, stone walls and cows where hamlets appear every few hundred metres. Peruscallo lies shortly before the marker showing about 103 kilometres to Santiago, with some traditional hórreos beside the path, and is usually remembered for something as simple as a good place to buy bread or grab a bite mid-morning. It has no monuments or documented history to justify more, so the best thing is to enjoy it for what it is: a corner of rural Galicia. Then, along a corredoira, the Camino reaches Cortiñas and Lavandeira, on the way to A Brea.
