The Iglesia de San Martín Obispo de Palacios de Benaver, a jewel of Burgos’s historic heritage, has remained closed since part of one of its vaults partially collapsed in December. The repair project has already been finalised and involves an investment of approximately €60,000, with an action plan covering the damaged vaults and the structural pillar that supports them.

Funding and Expected Timeline
The budget amounts to €60,000. Execution depends on the next call for the “Convenio de las Goteras” (Roof Leaks Agreement) grant, expected in March 2021, which would allow work to begin in spring.
Additionally, the following is being considered:

- Arranging financial support through the local action group Adeco Camino.
