San Xiao do Camiño (San Julián del Camino) is a hamlet and parish in the municipality of Palas de Rei, in Lugo Province, on the Camino Frances.
About 65 kilometres from Santiago, this hamlet of some thirty residents carries the Camino in its official name and keeps a late-12th-century church whose Romanesque apse, with barrel and semi-dome vaults, survives from the original building. It is dedicated to Saint Julian the Hospitaller, a very fitting patron for the place: according to the medieval legend, after killing his parents by mistake, Julian spent the rest of his life doing penance by helping travellers across a dangerous river and founded a hospital to care for them. Inside there is a painted carving of the saint and, outside, a stone cross. It is a short, quiet stretch, among oaks and meadows, a few kilometres from Palas de Rei, before carrying on to A Ponte Campaña.
